Connecting with your GP’s online services

Let your GP manage your medicines by connecting your account to the software they use.

Updated over a week ago

There are a few key benefits of connecting with your GP surgery’s online services:

  • your medicines will automatically appear in your LloydsDirect account

  • your prescription requests will go directly to the software your GP surgery uses, usually meaning they get approved quicker

The easiest way to connect with your GP’s online services is to use NHS login.

Note: You can’t connect to GP online services for any friends or family you order medicine for. Only the main account holder can connect to their NHS login or GP online services.

Not have an NHS login?

You can connect manually with your GP’s online services. You’ll need to contact your GP practice and ask for access to online services. They should give you these connection details:

  • Linkage key (sometimes called a passcode or passphrase)

  • ODS code (sometimes called an organisation code or surgery ID

  • Account ID

Note: You might need to take proof of identity to your surgery to request these details.

Once you have your connection details:

  1. Log in to LloydsDirect.

  2. Go to Account.

  3. Select Connect with GP.

  4. Enter the connection details and select Connect to GP surgery.
