As a registered pharmacy, we accept all NHS exemptions and prepayment certificates (PPC). To ensure you don’t pay extra for your prescriptions, you can add your exemption or PPC to your LloydsDirect account.
It's important that you keep your exemptions up to date. If you claim free prescriptions after your exemption expires, you may have to pay a penalty charge of up to £100. Even if it was a mistake.
How to add an exemption or PPC to your account
Log in to your LloydsDirect account.
Go to Account, then select your name. It will say ‘Manage your details’ underneath.
Note: To add an exemption or PPC for someone else on your account, make sure their name is selected first.
Select Exemptions, then Add exemption.
Choose your exemption or PPC from the list.
Add the expiry date, if you’re asked for one. This lets us remind you when your exemption or PPC is about to expire.
You’re ready to go. When you first use your exemption or PPC with us, we’ll ask you to upload a photo of it, so our pharmacists can check that it’s valid.
