Confirm new prescription from your GP

How to confirm a new prescription, and why you might need to do so.

Occasionally we may ask you to review a new prescription from your GP. This might happen if your GP issues new medicine after a recent appointment, or if they issue a different dose from what you normally use.

When this happens, we’ll send you an email to confirm the medicine you need. We’ll also prompt you in your account, just in case you miss the email:

  1. Go to Medicine.

  2. Select Confirm medicine.

Note: If you decide you don’t need a specific medicine, you’ll need to order a new prescription from your GP if you need it again in the future.
